Solutions for the Power Industry

From transmission-line fault location to integrated monitoring of cables, transformers and GIS — the right monitoring and diagnosis plan matched to each asset and scenario

Non-Contact Distributed Traveling-Wave Fault Location & Warning System (FDLS)

Detection units are distributed along HV transmission lines (3 per group for phases A/B/C), extracting transient fault traveling-wave current in real time and uploading it via wireless network to a master station. The master fuses data from all points with line records to pinpoint the fault, identify its type, and push alarms to O&M staff via SMS and web — sharply reducing post-fault patrol effort and outage time.

  • High accuracy: traveling-wave principle, location error <300m, essentially locks onto the faulted tower
  • Fault-type ID: distinguishes lightning (shielding/back-flashover) vs non-lightning faults, ≥95% accuracy
  • Non-contact mounting: installed on tower platforms, immune to corona and floating potential, easy to maintain
  • Wide coverage: 35–750kV AC lines; 300+ lines and 3200+ units already in service nationwide

Tunnel / Trench HV Cable Integrated Monitoring & Smart Assessment System

Built on a wireless sensor network of cable-joint temperature, energy-harvesting, sheath circulating-current, partial-discharge and environmental units plus a data terminal, fusing multi-source data to the cloud. A cloud expert system uses a BP neural network to model insulation faults, assess cable health in real time, detect latent defects and provide maintenance decision support for proactive O&M.

  • Multi-parameter: CH₄, SF₆, CO, O₂ gases, water level, temperature, sheath circulating current, partial discharge
  • Smart diagnosis: BP-neural-network model determines defect presence and trend
  • Real-time visibility: trend charts, live waveforms, auto alarms, history and alarm-record queries
  • Solves the gap: addresses missing monitoring and single-parameter limits in tunnels/cable trenches

Transformer Intelligent Health Assessment System

The acquisition module simultaneously captures HF and ultrasonic PD, core grounding current, temperature, dissolved-gas and load-rate data, fusing big-data analytics with AI assessment to upgrade experience-based “after-fault repair” into quantified “pre-fault prevention”. A compact, modular, split-type design makes it simple to install, easy to maintain and cost-effective.

  • Multi-parameter fusion: HF/ultrasonic PD, core current, temperature, dissolved gas, load rate
  • Smart recognition: neural network rejects interference — ~99% alarm rate, <5% false-alarm rate
  • Big-data decisions: IoT real-time acquisition, wireless transfer, cloud storage and AI support
  • Modular structure: combine multiple monitoring modes, add functions with no idle investment

Cable Fiber-Optic Vibration Monitoring & Anti-Damage System (FVS)

Based on distributed fiber-optic vibration sensing using optical interference, the sensing cable rapidly detects touch, pressure and vibration. When disturbed at any point, high-speed acquisition and processing precisely locate the disturbance and raise a real-time alarm — giving early warning of excavator works and other external cable-damage factors.

  • Precise location: ±20m accuracy, ±10m on-cable, up to 40km on a straight run
  • Early warning: senses nearby construction disturbance in real time, preventing external damage
  • Stable performance: corrosion-resistant, immune to natural interference, suited to many environments
  • Easy integration: compatible and simple to install/maintain, interfaces with third-party monitoring

GIS Equipment Integrated Assessment System

A fully sealed multi-cavity shielded design delivers strong EMC and anti-interference performance, with mixed analog-digital filtering for UHF partial-discharge online monitoring in high-noise environments. The system tracks and analyses each unit’s results and signal status in real time, assessing equipment condition to detect latent internal defects early and grasp their trend for maintenance decisions.

  • Strong immunity: fully sealed multi-cavity shielding + mixed analog-digital filtering for accurate data
  • Multiple alarms: active network alarm on PD exceedance; internal relay outputs a dry-contact signal
  • Powerful back-end: continuous recording of discharge level and trend charts, auto-save, live waveforms
  • Proactive O&M: detects latent internal defects early, improving maintenance focus and quality
